A 35+ Year Journey of Innovation and Global Impact
Jim (JC) Cook is an accomplished global entrepreneur with over three decades of leadership across entertainment, technology, real estate development, education, and humanitarian innovation.
Across his career, JC has been instrumental in raising more than $1 billion in capital, structuring deals and funding for ventures involving film, music, AI, sustainability systems, real estate, and emerging technology.
He serves as Chairman of International Capital Fund LLC, a multinational platform developing film, music, technology, real estate, and waste-to-energy projects worldwide. JC also chairs International Film Distribution, is a 50/50 partner in 3D Film, and founded Energy Technology Business Consultants, a firm built to solve complex global problems through advanced innovation.
In the 1990s, JC launched landmark entertainment initiatives with King Fahad of Saudi Arabia (1992) and Prince Basil of Kuwait, introducing them to global motorsports, offshore racing, media ventures, and international entertainment investment.
Early Foundations in Entertainment
At just 17 years old, JC helped bring MTV’s first live Spring Break broadcast to Daytona Beach, Panama City, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando — a moment that helped define MTV’s cultural explosion.
By 1988, he launched the Battle of the Bands concert series at the Daytona Bandshell, producing acts that became icons of American music, including:
Ozzy Osbourne • Red Hot Chili Peppers • Nirvana • Jane’s Addiction • Ice-T • Black Crowes,
and dozens more.
During this time, JC also facilitated one of the largest music publishing deals of the era, working directly with:
Kendall Minter
Joe Saraceno
Russ Regan
Sir Phillip Gatlin
Today, he owns over 18,000 master recordings, with a growing catalog now exceeding 22,000 works, including modern 2025 remakes.
Simultaneously, JC began working in television and film distribution under the mentorship of the legendary Bob Eyde, establishing the foundation for his career in global entertainment financing.
At 19 years old, JC helped finance Happily Ever After, the official animated sequel to Snow White, marking his entry into major film production and connecting him with Hollywood’s most powerful financial figures.
This led him to eventually become the business manager and later partner of Allen Schwalb, one of Hollywood’s greatest financiers.
Industry Mentorship & Legacy Influence
Throughout his career, JC was mentored directly by some of the most influential figures in entertainment:
Allen Schwalb
Hollywood’s iconic film financier —
64 Academy Award nominations, films include:

Russ Regan
